FAQ

  • After a decade of helping lovers live out the epic celebration of their dreams, I have expertise in (and love!) all of the above, so why pick one?! Orange Tree Weddings awesome USP is the fact that we can offer all of the above. You don’t have to juggle three different suppliers. One team, one vision, less admin, more ease… and usually, more budget-friendly too. It just makes sense.

  • Planning:

Planning starts the moment you decide “yep, let’s do this.” It covers the whole shebang: design concepts, bookings, logistics, budgets, supplier chats, timelines — all the grown-up stuff you absolutely can do, but may not have time / want to! I take as much or as little off your plate as you like, from finding the right florist to sorting your transport or lining up your cake tasting. Think of it as handing the admin and chaos to someone who genuinely enjoys it so you can enjoy the fun bits. As a very experienced planner, I also have a little orange book of very trusted, tried and tested suppliers, which saves you a lot of hours on research and quote gathering. And it completely minimises running the risk of your suppliers not delivering to a high standard on the day.

    On the day Coordination:

It’s important to note there is a difference between a venue coordinator, and an on the day co-ordinator! A venue coordinator works for the venue. An on-the day coordinator is your own personal advocate for the day. We’ll get to know each-other, and I will listen with care about how you want the day to feel. Learn what’s important to you, any worries you have, any family dynamics to be aware of…and when to whisk you off for a 5 minute break from the madness. I will know your plan inside-out because we go through every detail together beforehand. On the day, I’m there finishing the practical tasks, styling, placing flowers, welcoming suppliers, herding guests, keeping the timeline on track, grabbing safety pins, finding lost handbags, topping up drinks… whatever needs doing so you can stay firmly in the moment. Once you hand everything over in our final meeting (around 4-6 weeks prior), you don’t need to worry about a thing.

  • OTW don’t just style, we craft, create & transform. Unlike some event stylists and planners who outsource all of your props, we own, make and provide everything you could need to transform your venue. We do a lot more than lay tables for you. We cover every aesthetic element of your event. From tablescaping, draping, backdrops, signage and stationery, ceiling installations, food styling, ceremony decor & florals. Any wild idea you have is welcome here.

  • To get in touch, you can email, DM via Instagram, or fill in the contact form on the website. We first send you our enquiry form to gather a little more info about where you’re at and what your needs are. We’ll then send you a proposal and link to book in a call.

Once you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll send an invoice for the deposit and our T&C’s. We take a £500 deposit to secure your date. (Plus 50% of your planning fee if you book us for planning services) Then 50% of your quote 6 months prior to your date, and the remainder 4 weeks before! We are open to monthly payment plans too, just ask!  Once the deposit is paid, your date is booked, and we are ready to move onto the fun stuff!

  • Absolutely. This is where we thrive, and are most experienced. Great weddings come from good energy, not grand venues. Unusual spaces excite us because they offer so much freedom and personality.

  • I’m here for the non-traditional & the rule breakers. I’ll help you focus on how you want the day to feel, and translate that into something that looks intentional, personal and fun. A lot of our couples historically haven’t followed the traditional ‘timelines’, and we are here to help you do things your way. I will champion you getting rid of anything that doesn’t match your energy, and keep only what feels meaningful.

  • Nope. Whether your vibe is soft neutrals, bold primaries, monochrome or maximalist pattern clashes, I’ll design around it. Colour is one of my favourite tools, but it’s not the whole picture. I work with tone, texture, shape and mood. The vibe leads, and I translate it. I love blending unexpected elements into a cohesive, meaningful design.Whatever the palette, it’ll be unique and full of character!

  • Yep — I work across the UK and beyond. If I can get there without needing to swim, I’m in. Travel & accommodation fees may apply.

  • As early as you can, especially for full planning or heavy styling. But if you're late to the party, message me anyway — I might still be able to help.

  • We won’t claim to be florists. Floristry is a whole skill that is best left to the experts! But we do design with florals as part of the full picture, and we can source and collaborate with the most brilliant florists, to make sure the flowers integrate beautifully with the styling. However if you want more modest venue florals, such as bud vases and simple arrangements, we can provide these.

  • Every wedding is different, so I quote based on your needs. Once I know what you want help with — planning, styling, coordination or the whole shebang — I’ll send a clear, transparent quote. No weird hidden extras. However, my starting prices are on the services page, so you will have a good idea before we chat!

  • Yes. Whether it’s sustainability, community, accessibility, or social justice, I help you express your values in subtle, meaningful ways — through your choices, your décor, your rituals, and your suppliers. Authenticity first, always.

  • Inclusivity isn’t a feature — it’s a fundamental right. As a bi-babe myself, I’m here for all gender expressions, relationship styles, and family structures. I celebrate queer joy, queer aesthetics, and the beautiful complexity of chosen family. This is a safe, affirming space.

  • Perfect. You don’t need a clear picture — you just need a feeling. I’m here to shape, refine, and elevate even the vaguest spark of an idea into something tangible & stand-out!
