Who I am
I’m Janie (She/Her) — the designer, planner, coordinator and very colourful brain behind Orange Tree Weddings. I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and I still pinch myself that creating for love is what I get to call work.
I’m proudly liberal, endlessly inclusive, and here for every kind of love. No judgment, no assumptions — just a calm, creative space where you can be fully yourselves. Whoever you are, however you want to celebrate. This is your day & I’ll back your vision to the hilt.
How I work
I have an intuitive way with colour, like it’s a language I’ve always spoken. Add to that a love of shape, texture and flow, and my happy place is turning wild ideas into real, tactile spaces that feel damn good!
I take your scribbled ideas, colour crushes, and half-formed thoughts and help turn them into something personal, considered and real. I help tease out what really matters to you and bring it to life in a way that feels relaxed, and entirely your own.
Expect zero pressure, abundant ideas, and one very enthusiastic creative who’ll be by your side from the first moodboard to the final dance.
What I love
I care about the details — the ones that matter. No wasteful favours or single-use plastic here. I’m big on sustainability and big on substance.
I do this because I love it — the creativity, the chaos, the pure magic of a room full of people who love each other.
And when I’m not creating killer weddings? You’ll find me thrifting second hand treasures, planning my next sunny holiday, or drinking coffee with friends who feel like family.

Curated, ever-growing prop collection. Head full of ideas. The skills to bring it all together with care and creativity.
At OTW we do things differently — we own, design & make a huge curated range of props, stationery, tableware, signage and backdrops. You get big ideas, clever details, and one person managing it all.

We have a knack for teasing out what really matters to you and transforming that into a day that feels effortless, personal, and bursting with joy.
We’ve transformed the most eclectic range of spaces. From warehouses, laundries (yes really!) marquees, gardens, pubs, clubs and village halls. We know how to take any space and make it feel electric.
Our weddings are often described as “omg this is SO THEM” — and that’s exactly the point.
